The Saint Albert Benefit AuctionEach year, Saint Albert Catholic Schools hosts a Benefit Auction. In its 29th year of existence, the auction is the school's largest fund-raising event. It includes a dinner and silent and oral auctions. Proceeds from the event are used for the school's general operating budget, which allows Saint Albert to offer high quality programs for our students. The auction also helps the school system keep tuition affordable for families throughout southwest Iowa. Last year's auction 2009 raised about $300,000 for the school. Through the generous support of many companies, volunteers and civic organizations who donate their time and resources, Saint Albert expects this year's event will be equally as successful. Nearly 700 people attend the event each year. The auction is a great way for the community to come together to support Catholic education in southwest Iowa.
